Summer Wrap-up 2010: PART I

A few weeks ago, we had our only wakeboard competition for the year, at Last Chance! A bunch of our friends and neighbors came out to enjoy the day.
Here's Chance, Troy, Gavin Barber, and Jack Gubler...waiting for their turn to be in the competition!

Brandon and Randy! Rand totally surprised us with his mad wakeboard skills...he was awesome.

Here's MY BOY....skiing in his first tournament!!! So brave...so exciting...so awesome!!

Easton and his PLAYMATE!
Here's E's little buddy that he caught one night on the golf course after a rain storm.  He kept it around for quite a few days, and took it swimming in the backyard!
What's a little boy without his FROG????

WE DID ALLLOOTTTT WITH CHEER.
 Camps
E...thinks he's just one of the team! Brandon doesn't like that very much:)

 Cheer pool parties...

Poppy and Dotty gave the kiddo's GOLF LESSONS for their birthdays:) By the end of the season, they were pretty good.  Guess it makes sense to do that...considering our backyard is a golf course...may as well know how to play!!!
Amy was their teacher. She was sooooo patient. Can you imagine teaching all four of my kids at once? NO WAY JOSE'!!
 Chance was a natural!

Look at the ground around Addie...she made a few divots!!! Ha, ha, ha...that's my girl.

 They loved the ball machine.

We took our annual GIRLS TRIP to Last Chance for an over-nighter!

That was a blast as usual. We ate, laughed, talked like girls talk, skiied, soaked up the sun, and enjoyed a day off!  The best part of the trip was at the end of the day, right before we had to pack up and go home, we all jumped off the boat and laid on our backs in the water and started yelling out our freedoms for that moment! It was soooo funny.  Like Jen said "nooo babies wanting to breastfeed!" And someone said, "nooo husbands wanting sex." Ahhhhh nothing like a little break, to put us on our feet again and return us home to be better MOMMIES and WIVES!!!

Cherry Hill: MACKAY/CULLEY REUNION
We just love this place. And look forward to getting together with our family each year!
Time with Grandparents

The pirate ship: always a highlight with my boys. We have to go straight to the gift shop and buy the proper apparel each year!

Time with siblings.

 sisters...soooo cute:)

The cousins...most of them...a few slackers are missing! NOTE FOR NEXT YEAR: CHERRY HILL IS NOT OPTIONAL!!! You know who you are!!! lol

 Preston...my hilarious nephew...just a ray of "sunshine."

Just "good times!"

Here's Jen...trying to make us all think that she can tell the difference between different colors of M&M's....SHE FAILED MISERABLY!

My girls and I celebrated our birthdays up there too!

Brandon had to mix the burgers for our dinner. We all laughed and took photo's because there is nothing he hates worse than being MESSY! ha ha ha. They were great burgers though:)

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL:
This is out of order, but on the last day of school, the Morris's put together a huge party! The kids had water balloon and whip cream fights, they made a giant water slide, and we had a great BBQ. It was so fun!

This is the saddest picture....we had to leave the party early because little "E" put both of his tiny hands up on the fiery hot BBQ!!! The underneath of both hands were totally blistered. He's trying to be brave in this photo despite his scalded paws:(

AS YOU CAN SEE, WE HAD A GREAT SUMMER! STAY TUNED FOR PART II. YOU DIDN'T THINK THIS WAS OUR WHOLE SUMMER IN ONE POST DID YA????

Fall project

Something about the fall, gives me the "crafting bug." I don't know what it is, but I just want to light the candles and stay in and make random things every chance I get....so weird!
Here's what was on the agenda for this past week...

HaLlOweEn PiLlOwcAsEs!!!

My kids think they are spectacular! Chance liked them the best, he chose his own material before he left for school, then when he got home I had it all completed and laid out on his bed...he just ran upstairs and smiled when he saw it! Sooo cute. Then he asked if I could make him some pants to match?? Ummm...not sure about that?
Anyway, they can use them all month to sleep on, then... we can wash them before the 31st and they can use them as TRICK OR TREAT bags!!! Hip, hip, hooray!
(I'd like to give a shout-out to my good friend "Jana" who gave me this cute idea! "Thanks Jana Lana")
