B=37 years

I was able to make last minute arrangements, and whisk Brandon away for ONE whole night on his Birthday. Sometimes last minute plans, are the best.
Amanda had called me earlier in the week offering to sit with the kids on Saturday night, and I jumped at the opportunity.
After a busy Saturday morning, we packed our overnight bags and headed downtown. We stayed at the Hotel Monaco. Some friends had told me that it was really nice...and it didn't disappoint. The staff was so friendly and we loved our room.
That evening we went to some delicious "cheese" restaurant called "Zy" that Brandon found on some website. Whatever site he uses, we always find ourselves at the strangest places...WITH THE YUMMIEST FOOD.
We always have so much fun together. I love our time alone. We end up mostly talking about the kids and laughing about the kids, and crying about the kids...but that's what our life is about right now. And we love that.
I need to mention that we went to a movie and walked out...it was sooo lame. Some wolf show. I can't remember the name now. But between some close talking, loud mouth, wierdie girl next to Brandon in the movie, the "f" word said a million times in the show, and the lame wolves that were totally unrealistic...we had to abort ship. We went back to the hotel had our movie treats and watched Storage Wars, which is much more up our alley:) Again, just fun having "alone" time. I love you "B Diddy" hope you had a great Birthday!

Zumba "the HIGHLIGHT" of my Tuesdays!

Margo, Mel, and I have been hitting the dance floor at Zumba. We pretty much rock.
Addie and Lindsie attend the class too...they pretend we are NOT their MOM'S.  But we know they love our Doe-see-doe's.
Our "worm" still needs some work, but other than that I can't think of any moves we aren't naturals at?? Enough said! ba ha ha ha ha

Beauty and the Beast...3D

A couple of weeks ago, Hannah talked me into taking her and the boys to see Beauty and the Beast in 3D! She has always loved that movie. The only reason the boys agreed to go was because of the "3D" part. Can you believe they had NEVER EVEN SEEN THE SHOW BEFORE??? Wrong...sick and wrong! All children should see ALL OF THE DISNEY CLASSIC MOVIES!!!
Anywho, they loved it. They especially enjoyed the cool glasses they got to keep:)

Afterwards we went for sushi...and they loved that even more! Cute Kaden (Chance's best little buddy) came along with us. He has since left to go to Costa Rica for a month long vacation with his family. We are missing that boy!

Another Surgery

Two weeks before Christmas, Brandon dropped a huge ladder on his foot and broke it all the way across the bridge. Then, two weeks after that...he had to have surgery on his other foot to remove some of the hardware from his motorcycle accident a few years ago because it was starting to poke out of the top of his foot. While they were in there, they reconstructed a couple of his toes so he would have a little more movement.

Since I have known Brandon, I have probably been through 6-8 surgeries with him. He claims it's because he is so active and isn't lazy and likes to try new things. I say "let's just be lazy."
It's just so sad to watch him when he comes out of the surgery and into recovery. He is ALWAYS super sick. And this time was even worse than most. I thought he was possibly going to kill over he was so sick and had the worst migraine for the entire first night. By day two, he was just fine and ready to go back to work. Little stinker:)
Here's a picture after two weeks of healing. Lookin' good.
Last week, he got both "boot's" off and he no longer looks like Forrest Gump. We are BACK IN THE GAME! He's super excited to have more movement in the foot....thinks it will improve his waterskiing skills. Holy crap...I'm getting too old to keep up with this man:)
