It's sooo sucky

Chance was out riding bikes with his little buddy Jackson the other day. I started
hearing them laughing so hard in the garage and as I approached, I could hear a vaccuum. The two boys are suctioning their faces in the shop vac and just cracking up. It was so funny and I was laughing so hard that I could hardly snap these shots. Ever since Chance was little he has been obsessed with the vaccuum....at the car wash he loves to help me. However, I won't let him suck up his face with that one! You never know where it's been.

My beautiful girls

Brandon will be so surprised at how much the girls have changed since he has been gone! They love playing with this computer program that distorts their faces. We have some good laughs, thats for sure!Poor little Addie only has two teeth

Here's some baby bird soup that was served to Brandon....I could just cry! Don't worry, he won't eat it...he won't even eat at KFC and pick the chicken off the bone...let alone THIS!

This is a sign going into the hotel Brandon is staying at....I guess he might have to leave! Just kidding! Can you even imagine seeing that here? CRAZY STUFF IN ASIA

Ten Day Countdown

0 MORE DAYS

Each year, Brandon has to go to Asia for ten days for work. We dread every second of it, but know that it is something that will undoubtedly help the business.

Easton helping his daddy pack on Sunday night! Each time Brandon would put in new clothes, Easton would nicely throw them off the bed. What a helper!

Back to School

On Monday, the girls started school again. Hannah is in 6th Grade and Addie is in 4th! I can't believe that one of my kids will be in Junior High next year! Unbelievable! The girls: modeling their new outfits...Hannah=sporty Addie=girly girl
My two beautiful girls...trying hard to smile while hugging!

First day of school breakfast: buttered toast with soft boiled eggs.

Moms heart sinks as they walk away!!

Hannah, Natalie, Jaydra, Anna: YES, they are all the same age and NO, Hannah is not a midget.

Maddie and Addie: BFF

The Gang: all walking over the bridge on the way to school!

The girls had a very good first day. Addie absolutely loved her teacher and she only has 5 girls in her whole class with like 25 boys...she thinks that is the bomb! And Hannah said she had to take a lot of tests but really liked her teacher. She is pretty excited to rule the school this year being in the 6th grade and all! We are all struggling to get back in the swing of things...earlier bedtimes, earlier wake-up calls, and homework. Structure is good for us, we just have a little work to do to get there. Honestly, who gets up at 7:30? Ewwww

So much to do....so little time!

Summer has gone by way too fast! This past couple of weeks we have been very busy getting ready for the new school year!
School shopping with Hannah...exhausting yet fun at the same time. How would it be to be young again and look cute in everything you put on?

We had to take time out and eat at the Cheesecake Factory! This was our first visit and we had the best time. We ordered two appetizers to share and a smoothy! Then Hannah had mac n' cheese, and I had a small salad that was divine. We were so stuffed that we couldn't muster up the strength to eat cheesecake! Oh well, maybe next time!

The boys got back-to-school haircuts! How great it is to have a niece that cuts kids hair for a living!!! I get a salon right in my own bathroom!!!

Easton had so much hair in that sticky thing he's eating...gross!

My handsome soon-to-be Kindergartener! Boo hoo hoo

Our final sleep over.
Breakfast of champions....McDonalds!

I splurged and took the girls for little manicures and pedicures...too cute!

"So long summer...it's back to work, work, work!!!!"

Summer "Finale" at Joe's

Each year we are very lucky to be able to go with the Saratoga clan to Joe's Valley. This year there were so many fun families that went! What a great way to end the summer! The first couple of days were pretty windy for waterskiing, but everyone made the best of it, and did alternative water sports. Uncle Chris surfed, Brandon, Margo, and Rick did the airchair (hilarious might I add), Brandon and Rick gave a great show on barefoot skiing, the kids all searched for guppy fish, made sandcastles, and hung on the boom bar, not to mention doing some serious TUBING! I however, sat on the beach and read a fabulous book while taking in the sun, and laughing at the performers on the water!
While eating lunch, the little boys decided to put the HUGEST caterpillar on Margo's back...I have never seen her pitch such a fit in my life. So dang funny!
At night we had fabulous dutch oven cooking. The first night we tried to pop pop-corn on the fire...not so good! But still fun!
One of the families had the hugest motorhome you have ever seen, and people kept disappearing to go watch the Olympics on their plasma big screen...NOW THAT'S CAMPIN!
The kids just fell into their sleeping bags at night...who am I kidding, so did the adults!

By the way, Hannah and Easton are not in any of the pictures because Hannah was in "Millhollow" and Easton stayed home with our cute little friend Allina....we were practically "empty nesters!"

The little boys spent one morning watching "Veggie Tales." It was the only t.v. to be found at camp, and as you can see...they thought it was pretty NEATO!

Margo and Tara trying to control the KILLER caterpillar!
VICIOUS CREATURES AT JOE'S...WATCH OUT!

Dumb, dumb Lisa and Jason talked me into skiing the last day. Lisa went first and had an injured toe, so she said that if she did it, that I would have to after! Unfortunately, she succeeded! Crap...I had to ski too! "Good Times"
